Article 1 — Purpose and Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all sales concluded between AUREL (hereinafter "the Seller") and any adult individual making a purchase on the aurelkeepsakes.com website (hereinafter "the Customer"). Any order placed on the website implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

Article 2 — Products

The products offered for sale are 18K gold-plated stainless steel jewelry, customizable or not. The essential characteristics of each product are described on its corresponding product page. Photographs are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not contractual.

AUREL reserves the right to modify its catalog, prices, and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Article 3 — Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€) all taxes included (TTC). AUREL reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the price applicable to the order is that in effect on the day of order validation.

Article 4 — Order

The Customer selects the desired products and adds them to the cart. The order is validated after filling in the delivery and payment information, and confirmation by the Customer. A confirmation email is sent to the Customer upon receipt of payment. AUREL reserves the right to cancel any order in case of payment issues, incorrect delivery address, or abnormal order.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is made online, securely, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or any other means offered during checkout. The debit is made at the time of order validation. Transactions are secured by SSL protocol.

Article 6 — Delivery

Orders are shipped to mainland France and within the European Union. Delivery is free, with no minimum amount, for all orders shipped within mainland France. Within the European Union, delivery costs remain the responsibility of the Customer, at the rate indicated during payment. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

• Non-personalized jewelry: shipped within 24 business hours
• Engraved jewelry: shipped within 3 to 5 business days

These deadlines run from the validation of payment. Full details of rates and carriers are available on our Delivery page. AUREL cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier or force majeure events.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay penalties.

Important Exception: In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. Consequently, jewelry that has been custom engraved is excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned or refunded, except in case of a manufacturing defect.

To exercise the right of withdrawal for a non-personalized product, the Customer must notify their decision by email to hello@aurelkeepsakes.com before the deadline expires.

Article 8 — Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted only for non-personalized products, in their original condition (unworn, undamaged, in their original packaging). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. The refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned item, using the same payment method as used for the original order. Full details are available on our Return Policy page.

Article 9 — Legal Guarantees

All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code). Article 10 — Liability

AUREL cannot be held responsible for indirect damages resulting from the use of the site or purchased products. AUREL's liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned.

Article 11 — Personal Data

The data collected during the order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Article 12 — Disputes and Applicable Law

These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the Customer may resort to mediation via the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
